We’re Not Your Average Co-op

The Makery is a creative homeschool community for Muslim families.

We bring mothers, children, and teens together through supportive gatherings, meaningful relationships, shared resources, and hands-on experiences.

Because homeschooling was never meant to feel lonely.

More Than a Traditional Co-op

The Makery began with a vision of giving Muslim girls a place to create, develop real-world skills, strengthen their identity, and form meaningful friendships.

That vision is growing.

Today, The Makery is growing beyond traditional classes to include creative workshops, youth projects, family meetups, resource events, and supportive gatherings for homeschooling mothers.

Whether you come to create, learn, share resources, find encouragement, or simply meet people who understand the homeschool journey, The Makery is a place to feel connected and supported.

The format may change, but our purpose remains the same: to help Muslim families feel connected, capable, creative, and supported. Because homeschooling may happen at home, but it should never have to happen alone.
